A little bit about me...
I am a brand marketing, content, and communications strategist. I am currently the CEO and Founder of Tactile, a creative studio that does branding, content creation, and communications for women-led and women-focused companies. I also do 1:1 mentor/coaching sessions with women who have just stepped into the largest role of their career. I am obsessed with the work that I do. You can read the story behind why I started my business here. The nutshell version is that on average, women account for only 16% of the members of executive teams in the United States. 45% of boards have one or no women. Only 11% of startups in New York are founded by women (a number that is actually celebrated). These gloomy stats don't align with the progressive values many of us share. So, in 2016 I left my job to fix this.
Before I launched Tactile, I was the VP of Marketing & Communications for The New Republic. At The New Republic, I oversaw branding, revenue marketing, communications, and audience development. Prior to working for The New Republic, I led brand marketing for the Guardian and led brand marketing for NewsCred. Before that, I led the AOL Artists program at AOL, where I created a network of 110 emerging artists and commissioned digital art for the AOL brand and for advertisers. While there, I also conceptualized and led partnerships with organizations, including New Museum, Tumblr, Northside Festival, and The Whitney. Before entering the media world, I worked in the arts and as an independent curator.
